Title: Why are totals in SNDB for Pre-Security Journeys so low?

Was wondering if anyone knows the factors of why the totals in the SNDB for Pre-Security Journeys and early Journeys are so low?  Does it coincide with the launching of the DB? or something else?  TIA  Breanna

Basicly the SNDB did not exist back when that series was in circulation.
