Here's a link to another polymer prototype for a BIRDS $20 (2nd signature). It has been shared over at C&C, & there's some interesting info provided by a member who goes by John1000 (re: the origin of these $20).

Here are some Canadian examples of the the 1994 project by Mobil Oil for testing petroleum based hydrocarbon polymer paper for printing banknotes.

Only one type of test was done for the $50 Bird note while multiple different examples were done for the $20 Bird note.

Are the dark circles polymer exposed? If so can you see through them like a window?
 
Do you know what the weird grill pattern is?

Have you tried shining a black light on these to see if there’s any security features hidden?
