2012 "F" with/without serifs?

Hello,
Has anyone heard of a variation of a 2012 $20 note having prefix letters "F" with and without serifs?  Someone mentioned this in another group and I've not heard of it before.

All of the Frontiers series notes I've seen are sans-serif.
